Join Us – We continue our work to make the Astronomy Association of Arizona (AAA) the very best in America. Whether you find yourself wanting to learn more about astronomy or professionally work in the science as a researcher, we want you to be part of our organization! As we grow as an organization, the benefits to our members (educational, personal astronomical experience and professional knowledge) continue to be foremost in our minds.
We are committed to working with you to meet your personal goal in learning astronomy. With this in mind, we have structured our membership levels to accommodate you and provide the benefits suited to your aspirations.
Subscriber (nonmember) – You may find yourself wanting more information about us, or if you are still learning about astronomy, you may become an AAA Subscriber – at no cost to you. We will notify you of events and other interesting news in the science.
Regular Member – If you have more of an interest in astronomy and want to participate in our events in a more active way, then join us as a Regular Member. Membership dues range from $15 to $30.
Individual membership is $20 per year; Students, seniors, active or military veterans and educators are $15 per year; and Family membership is $30 per year.
Regular members receive our newsletter, can attend courses at a discounted rate or no cost, will enjoy popular astronomy magazine discounts and a free membership in the NASA / JPL Night Sky Network. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our educational mission with aspirations to help individuals meet their personal astronomical goals.
Contributing Member– Our vision as a growing organization is to develop a multitude of ways to educate everyone about astronomy, regardless of socio-economic status, cultural association, or individual philosophical belief. In order to achieve this vision, we appreciate a donor’s or sponsor’s contribution to our association. Besides making a tax deductible gift to a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we will provide anyone who gives $250 or more annually a membership for their family and a private, educational event (night or solar) for up to 10 members of their family.
