This event is designed to help AAA members learn more about the science of astronomy
and how to properly utilize their telescopes. Experienced astronomers will be available to
assist those who are new to astronomy.
Sterling Grove Community - Surprise, AZ - September 26, 2024 and January 23, 2025- Telescope viewing - Time: 7:30 pm
Greer Civic Association - Greer, AZ - August 31, 2024 - Stargazing at Tunnel Reservoir Parking Lot - 7:30 to 9:30 pm
Camp With a Ramp - Christopher Creek, AZ - September 13, 2024 - Telescope viewing. Time: 7 pm
Tonopah High School - Civil Air Patrol Stem Program - September 28, 2025 - Telescope viewing Time: 6 pm
Note: Private events, donations and sponsorships are one of the ways we fund many of our education programs. This provides quality learning for members, the underutilized and economically challenged populations.
