Membership Meeting - December 19, 2021 - Center on Main, Verrado - Our monthly membership meeting starts at 4 pm and ends at 5 pm. Members need not register. Non-members are welcome to attend but registration will be required. Submit to Info@AstronomyAssociationArizona.org. We are voting to confirm the Board of Directors' next term for 2022. We will also have a report on our CubeSat Project from Doug Walker, a financial report will be presented by CFO , Steve Ciucci and a presentation on our association's education plans for 2022 will be made.

Solar System, Stellar & Galactic Astronomy - First Quarter 2022 - This will be a three day class conducted by Dr. Doug Walker. Non member cost will be $25 / member cost $20.

Buckeye SciTech Festival - February 19 & 20, 2022 - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Event Location: Buckeye Municipal Airport - 3000 S. Palo Verde Road, Buckeye, AZ 85326. The Astronomy Association will be providing hands-on educational activities, including solar telescope viewings.
Verrado Annual Founders Day Picnic - March/April 2022 – Astronomy Association will be participating as it as done in previous years. Specific date, time and location to be determined by Verrado.
Grand Canyon Star Party - June 18 to 25, 2022 – Astronomy Association will be participating with the Grand Canyon National Park with approximately 15-20 telescopes for the week. Members interested in attending should make reservations for a place to stay immediately. 9,000 people attended the event at the last in-person event in 2019 and more are expected in 2022.
