Monthly Membership Meeting - October 17, 2021 – This will be the first in-person Business Meeting of the membership. It will be conducted at the Center-On-Main in Verrado from 6:30pm to 7:30 pm.
Following an update of the club’s events and administrative matters, a presentation will be made by Dr. Doug Walker, the Association’s Chief Education Officer. The subject matter will be finalized soon.
Canta Mia Star Party - October 24, 2021 - This is a private event for Canta Mia residents only. Special conditions apply including pre-registration. The community organizer will publish event details.
Solar System, Stellar & Galactic Astronomy - November 2, 3, & 4, 2021. This will be a three day class conducted by Dr. Doug Walker. Non member cost will be $25 / member cost $20.
Class size restricted to 25.
Monthly Membership Meeting - November 13, 2021 – This will be the second in-person Business Meeting of the membership. The plan will be to have the meeting virtual as well. The in-person meeting will be conducted at the Center-On-Main in Verrado from 6:30pm to 7:30 pm. A presentation is planned with a guest speaker (TBD).
Verrado - Victory Star Party – November 17, 2021 - This is a private event for Victory Adult Community residents only. Special conditions apply including pre-registration. Restricted to the first 50 residents. The community organizer will publish the time and location.

Buckeye SciTech Festival - February 19 & 20, 2022 - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Event Location: Buckeye Municipal Airport - 3000 S. Palo Verde Road, Buckeye, AZ 85326. The Astronomy Association will be providing hands-on educational activities, including solar telescope viewings.
Verrado Annual Founders Day Picnic - March/April 2022 – Astronomy Association will be participating as it as done in previous years. Specific date, time and location to be determined by Verrado.
Grand Canyon Star Party - June 18 to 25, 2022 – Astronomy Association will be participating with the Grand Canyon National Park with approximately 15-20 telescopes for the week. Members interested in attending should make reservations for a place to stay immediately. 9,000 people attended the event at the last in-person event in 2019 and more are expected in 2022.
